LOS ANGELES
We drove 3200 miles in 2,5 weeks and the van was absolutely reliable. From sea level up to 10,800 feet. I appreciate the values of Travellers Autobarn and the feeling of freedom while travelling. I recommend Travellers Autobarn to all who like escaping from daily life and todays convenience and experiencing the essentials.
We rented the Kuga van for 2 months with my boyfriend (56 days to be precise). It was amazing, the van was great and well equipped, we took the bedding and cooking gear which was really great and perfect for the trip. In this feature you get two bath towels, two dish towels, two sleeping bags, two sheets, one for the upper bed and one for the lower bed, two pillow with covers, you also get two glasses, two cups, 4 plates, two smalls and two big, two bowls, two of each cutlery, one big knife, some cooking utensils, one pan, two pots one big and one small with lids, one kettle, and one strainers. We had everything we needed to cook and sleep, we just bought a small kitchen knife in a good will be cause it was more useful than the big one they give. We also added the camping chairs which was really great to have! We also added the heated blanket and the heater, which I don’t recommend taking if you are going to do wild camping, because they both works when the van is plugged...

Incredible experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Brady at the front had a lot of pro tips on how to make the most of our adventure. I asked the owner to open up a lot in southeast USA, So we will see. Would highly recommended them for the value. Common sense told me to go for the newer vans so less issues, and it was a success. Only thing, keep in mind the wind advisory alerts (those UTAH Mighty 5 roads) when driving these things, they will feel that impact!
2691 miles - 4330 Kilometer in 2 Wochen (Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Page, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Sand Hollow, Valley of Fire, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Highway 1)
Me and my friend rented a Kuga van last October for 2 weeks plus and the van did extremely well. We drove for a total of 3299 miles exploring from one national park to another thru from California up to salt flats and down to Utah and Vegas. There was no problem with the van whatsoever. The collection and return process was also smooth. Alfonso, whom we collected the van from was very friendly and briefed us with all the things necessary. We did run into a little problem of how to dump the grey water the first time but also that’s because we didn’t pay enough attention when Alfonso was explaining 😅. The living equipments are comfortable enough for the cold autumn nights and the depot also has a few leftover kitchen equipments and spices etc for u to get started on the trip.
SAN FRANCISCO
Derek and team were wonderful! They were really busy but accommodated us beautifully, even though we were very late returning our vehicle. Top team at Hayward- Derek is stand out great and Gary (and his friendly dog) perfectly lovely! I recommend travellers autobarn 💯 percent!
We had a great experience. Good value for money. No technical issues with the car. We did a roadtrip from San Fran to Yosemite, Sequoia, Death Valley, Bryce, Grand Canyon and Venice Beach. Fantastic. Would definitely recommend Travellers Autobarn.
What a great way to explore the west coast of the USA. We rented a kuga campervan in San Francisco for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it. Travelled 4500 km’s and did not have any technical problems or so at all! Helped by Patricia who was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend renting a campervan here.
Patricia was great at the check in and and return. We had an amazing trip along the coast of California and to the national parks. Really loved the experience we had with the van! Allows you to go remote and have the best time.
We had the most amazing 5 days with our Kuga Campervan! The pickup was quick and easy and when we decided that we wanted more time with the van at the last minute they let us extend our booking and do an after-hours drop off. The van was clean, reliable and great to drive. It had pretty much everything we needed and the sleeping bags actually kept us quite warm in near freezing temps even when we didn’t have a campsite where we could plug in. We loved being able to cook in the van and loved the versatility of the table/ bed design. We are already planning our next vacation in a Travellers Autobarn van! Can’t recommend this company enough.
LAS VEGAS
Incredible experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Brady at the front had a lot of pro tips on how to make the most of our adventure. They have a room where campers donated leftover food/items from previous trips for new campers to take - we loved that so we left a ton of our supplies to "Pay it Forward". Common sense told me to go for the newer vans so less issues, and it was a success. Only thing, keep in mind the wind advisory alerts (those UTAH Mighty 5 roads) when driving these things, they will feel that impact! I asked the owner to open up a lot in southeast USA, So we will see. Would highly recommended them for the value.
We rented a Kuga camper for a one week trip. We had a great experience and would definitely rent from Travellers Autobarn again vs going with a private rental on outdoorsy. They were super flexible with our pickup and drop off needs and had great customer service. pros: no mileage limit, very functional, good bed layout and storage, we liked the kitchen and sink, easy to drive and easy to clean up, kitchen kit had what we needed, the office had freebie leftovers from other campers. cons (none of these were a deal breaker): can't get to back of van from front seats without going around, no heater for sleeping during colder months.
We rented a van for a trip to Death Valley from the Las Vegas location. All customer service interactions were great (I had asked questions prior to renting) and they made everything easy. Picked up the van during pick-up hours and I was walked through all the van amenities (which was super helpful). All staff I interacted with at pickup were very friendly and helpful. The van itself was great and as advertised. They are higher mileage vans (which they are up front about), but it was mechanically sound and did not cause us any issues at all during our travels. It was amazing having a fridge (worked off the solar - going to be hard going back to a cooler!), a sink, microwave, and 2 burner propane cooktop. Interior lighting (and “porch light”) ran off the battery connected to solar - so easy to see things at night in the van. Ours was a shorter trip at 4 nights, but it was a great experience. Drop-off was easy and was done during normal drop-off hours. Would definitely rent from them again for future trips where we wanted a van....

Just finished a 7 day trip through the Grand Circle in the new Hi5 campervan. The van was great and the customer service even better. The van was brand new so there were no reliability issues and it was great on gas. Unfortunately, it was hit by another vehicle while we were off exploring. The damage was minor but I have to say that the process for reporting the accident was very efficient and they were really understanding. One thing to note: They say this van can sleep 5 - I would say that’s a stretch, as the upper loft bed is pretty “cozy”. But in our case we were three and it was enough space for everyone. I would definitely recommend this van to others, it was a lot of fun!
An absolutely epic trip with Travellers Autobarn! Not only was the van great, but I was so impressed with the level of customer service from start to finish. Booking online was easy, follow up questions before pickup date were easily answered with phone calls, and we got a thorough explanation and tour of the van when we checked in. The Travellers team even took pictures of us with the van added some camp chairs to our van for free! The van itself was such a good value. It's hard to find camper vans at this price point that you can stand up in and offer a kitchen setup, convertible bed, and all of the other features that the Kuga does. We toured from Utah to California and checked off some incredible bucket list items with Travellers Autobarn. Easy choice to go with Travellers!
