Was a amazing experience the ban was in perfect condition , modern , secure and everything works perfect, the staff was super friendly .. one of my favorite trips in my life im gonna repeat it .
Aw what an experience!!!!! ❤️ From the moment I booked with TA I started to receive emails with tips, tricks and ideas for our road trip. All docs were simple yet very informative and helpful. Definitely a bonus to begin with. TA had unlimited mileage, and their one-way fee was one of the lowest I found. On arrival at TA in SF (via train then bus) we were made very welcome. All questions we had were answered. We were given a full tour, plus instructions, of our camper. We'd paid extra for the sleeping bag/accessories kit which we were glad of. The camper was very easy to drive. I'm used with a RHD manual (Abarth), so a LHD and automatic and it was huge in comparison 😂 Once I got the hang of it it was easy! We travelled to LA via the PCH (mostly - landslides caused a rather long detour) We drove just over 800 miles with no mechanical issues. We opted to stay in campsites along with way: Monterey, Big Sur, Morro Bay (my favourite and the best VFM), and Malibu Creek. Returning the camper to LA...

Luis was very nice with us when we came take the van and when we return it. He explain everything very well and when we return the Van he listen to all of the trouble we meet during the trip and take notes. Hope they will fix it ! Thank you so much !
We had a great experience - our van was an older one and it had a few idiosyncratic problems but once we'd got the hang of things, we loved it. One or two basics in terms of maintenance and helpful equipment was missing but essentially it was a great, tough and rugged vehicle that never really let us down - highly recommend...
We drove 3200 miles in 2,5 weeks and the van was absolutely reliable. From sea level up to 10,800 feet. I appreciate the values of Travellers Autobarn and the feeling of freedom while travelling. I recommend Travellers Autobarn to all who like escaping from daily life and todays convenience and experiencing the essentials.
SAN FRANCISCO
My husband and I got the relocation deal from LA to SF. The van was fantastic. Plenty of space, very comfortable, easy to maneuver. We enjoyed the stove, it was convenient to cook. The sleeping area was also comfortable. The lady at the Hayward location was helpful! We checked out at 9am today (Monday) and the process was very smooth and quick. Thank you Traveller’s Autobarn!
We rented the Kuga Campervan for our one-week trip from San Francisco to Joshua Tree and other areas in southern California. This was our first campervan travel experience and we are happy to say that our expectations have been met. The booking process was straightforward and operation instructions were clearly communicated. The van and its features were exactly as described. There was ample storage space and everything was clean. The staff members were all very pleasant to deal with. They were kind enough to accommodate an after hours drop off. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We will be renting again!
These guys are amazing!!!! Warm welcome. Very knowledgeable. Took their time. Answered all my daft questions. Camper was the welcome third wheel on our epic road trip!! Couple of blips with the camper but nothing major (ie nothing mechanical) Prices competitive and one of the lower fees for one-way. Lots of information emailed through after booking which proved very useful. I highly recommend hiring from TA.
I had an amazing experience renting the Hi5 camper van from Travellers Autobarn. The Hi5 Campervan was spotless and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the double fridge, the open layout, and how smoothly the van handles the road. The staff provided excellent service, offering helpful advice and ensuring a hassle-free experience. If you want to do a road trip and you know you will drive lots of miles than rent from Travellers Autobarn. We have rented for almost one month a van in San Francisco and did whole California with it, from mountain to beach. The cars are little old but reliable. We had no problems with the one we had (a Chevy). The pick up and drop off of the van was super smooth, the staff was nice and answered to all questions we had which were not few as it was our first time to do this kind of road trip in a campervan. Also the manual and internet site have plenty of useful information. The space inside is quite good for two but it can fit an additional small/medium size adult. There is everything that you need for cooking (maybe the staff could add a corkscrew and a pair of scissors) and for sleeping. Depending on which season you go, you can rent the fan or the heater. All in all, the road trip was awesome!
LAS VEGAS
Saw Travellers in New Zealand and found out they were in America, so I had to get one to test the hype. Vehicle: 100% worth the value. As they state on their website, these vehicles go into sand, mountains, and everywhere in between - many companies or people do not want you to do this. But they were exactly what we needed. Comfy bed, plenty of storage. Company: Staff were great, customer service was on top of anything you need, and the value is likely the best you'll find. We will be return customers if ever in TA locality. 💯
Amazing time travelling around Utah, Nevada and Arizona. Cheyenne was so accommodating and helpful in planning our trip. I loved her spirit and enthusiasm for adventure. Erin was also very helpful on the phone whenever we called in. A truly memorable vacation.
True Australian service! My girlfriend and I hired a Camper and drove from Las Vegas to San Francisco. Derek and Cheyenne helped us get ready for the road trip and gave us plenty of recommendations for stops along the way! They were truly amazing. On arrival to San Francisco we were greeted with the same impeccable service. Tiffany ensured we'd removed all our personal possessions and guided us on our way to continue our road trip in a hire car. Amazing company, great vans, impeccable service. It doesn't get any better.
Yall - from pick up to drop off, hands down the best service AND experience. Cheyenne and Derek in Vegas were incredible. Giving us pointers on where to go and stay. The van its self is the perfect size and didn’t make either of us nervous to drive. Tiffany, at the drop off, in San Fran area was so kind! She let us leave all our things we didn’t use for other Travellers and guided us onward as we are finishing our trip by car to Seattle. The 101 is a stunning drive and we are so glad we found Travellers Autobarn to make this trip one to remember. Calling on the Pacific coast was unbeatable. Thank you each for all your help!
We had the trip of a lifetime with Travellers Autobarn! We camped at multiple national parks with no problems at all. The van was comfortable and clean. Zia, at the Las Vegas Depot, was great to work with and made the process super easy. We have rented with a different camper van company in the past and Travellers Autobarn is much better at planning and up front with details and fees. Thanks to everyone at TA for the wonderful road trip!
