COVID-19 Booking, change of dates and cancellation guide
Conditions below are applicable to customers picking up before 1st January 2021 as well as booked before the 30th of April 2020. If you have booked after the 30th of April 2020 please contact us directly…the below terms will not apply to you….
- If you have booked via travel agency you please need to cancel your booking via your travel agency.
- If you are prevented from travelling by government imposed travel restrictions that are concurrent with your campervan booking, and your travel insurance does not cover you, then please contact Travellers Autobarn and request a credit voucher.
- The following cancellation fees apply
- If cancelled up to 8 days of pick-up date: $500 (amount can be used for a future booking)
- If cancelled within 7 days of pick-up: 50% of the total cost of rental (No credit note supplied)
- If cancelled on the day or non-appearance or failure to cancel booking: No refund on total cost of rental (and no credit for future booking)
Credit vouchers issued during this period will be transferrable, have no expiry date and can be used in Australia, NZ or USA, fully flexible, no blackout dates, subject to availability. Credit Vouchers can not be split among people or over several bookings – credit voucher is only valid for one future booking.
EARLY RETURNS of VEHICLES
Under the terms and conditions it states “There is no monetary refund for early return of a Vehicle. A credit voucher for the unused days in excess of 14 days may be issued if a request for an early return credit voucher has been approved by Travellers Autobarn in writing prior to returning the vehicle”. However if you have lost more than 7 days we are permitting credit vouchers for future travel in Australia, NZ or USA or we can provide the paperwork required to claim on your travel insurance. In all cases we want to work with you towards the best possible outcome. Please contact our reservation team directly via the CHANGE BOOKING REQUEST. Please be aware credit vouchers are only based on the daily rate – we don’t provide credit notes for lost excess reduction packages or any extras. Please also only APPLY after you have returned your VEHICLE!
